What Does Delayed Period Along With Back Pain And Nausea Indicate?

Hi, I have never missed a period and I’m currently 17 days late, I’m currently 32 years old and overweight. I have taken several home pregnancy tests which have all came back negative, including a visit to the emergency which was also negative, however, that was not the primary reason. At that time and currently I am experiencing lower abnormal pain to my left side, lower back pain, severe nauseousness that comes in waves, loss of appetite, and sleeplessness. At the emergency room I found out that I had BV (bacterial vaginosis) and was given Metronidazole Vaginal Gel,0.75%, Ondansetron ODT 4 MG (that helps somewhat), and Famotidine 20 MG. I made a doctor appointment with my primary care doctor because the symptoms appears to be getting worst.

Hi, I think your periods can get delayed due to infections also. You can take some medicines like progesterone for inducing periods. You may need some antibiotics and antifungal drugs. You may need some vaginal pessary of antibiotics and antifungal drugs also.
